Peru Fundraiser: Major Flooding Affecting our Producer Partners
The producer members of the CECANOR co-op in Lambayeque, from whom we have sourced our Cafe Femenino Peru for many years, have been heavily affected by Cyclone Yaku, which made landfall on March 8th.
The heavy rain has caused rivers to breach their banks and caused flooding and mudslides, claiming 6 lives and affecting at least 8,000 people.
From now through April 30th, we will donate 10% of our sales of Peruvian coffee to the Cafe Femenino Foundation and earmark it for the CECANOR co-op.
